Driver Route Tracker - User Instructions

Overview

The Route Tracker feature allows drivers to record departure times, arrival times, and actual unload times at each stop. This information is captured in real-time for backend monitoring purposes.


Getting Started

Step 1: Scan Your Route Summary Sheet

  • Each driver will be assigned a Route Summary Sheet at the beginning of their shift

  • Open the Delivery Management app and navigate to Route Tracker

  • Tap "Scan Route Summary Sheet"

  • Scan the barcode located at the top of your Route Summary Sheet

Step 2: Check In to Your Route

  • After scanning successfully, tap the "CHECK-IN TO ROUTE" button

  • This will load your complete route with all scheduled stops for the day


During Your Route

Step 3: View Your Stop List

  • Once checked in, you'll see the LIST view showing all your stops in order

  • Each stop displays:

    • Stop number

    • Address

    • City and ZIP code

    • Planned arrival time

    • Number of orders (if multiple deliveries)

Step 4: When You Arrive at a Stop

  • Tap the "ARRIVE" button for your current stop

  • This records your actual arrival time

Step 5: Complete Deliveries

  • Switch to the "SUMMARY" tab/view

  • You will see the total number of invoices/deliveries for that stop

  • For each delivery:

    • Tap "VERIFY" to verify the delivery items

    • Tap "SIGN" to collect the customer signature (standard process)

Step 6: Depart to Next Stop

  • After completing all deliveries at the current stop, return to the "VIEW LIST" view

  • Tap the "DEPART" button

  • This records your departure time and moves you to the next stop

Step 7: Repeat for All Stops

  • Continue the same process for each remaining stop:

    1. ARRIVE at stop

    2. Switch to SUMMARY

    3. VERIFY deliveries

    4. Collect SIGNATURES

    5. DEPART to next stop
