Introduction: This instruction manual will guide you through the process of adding, editing, and deleting accounts on the general ledger using the platform.
Step 1: View Existing Accounts
Upon entering the GL Chart Account Management section, you will see a table displaying all accounts currently in the system.
Step 2: Edit or Delete Existing Accounts
You have the option to edit or delete existing accounts in the table.
Use caution when deleting sub accounts; only delete if you are sure they have never been used in the system before.
Step 3: Edit an Existing Account
To edit an account, click on the "Edit" option associated with that account.
You can change the account type, description, and parent (if applicable) of the account.
Step 4: Add a New Sub Account
To add a new sub account, fill out the required information located above the account table.
Click the "Add" button to create the new sub account.
