Manage Cross Reference
The purpose of this function is to manage cross-references in the system and associate catch weight items with specific products for validation purposes in sales orders.
Step 1: Accessing Cross-Reference Management
Navigate to the "Cross Reference List" page in File Maintenance.
Step 2: Adding a New Cross-Reference
On the cross-reference management page, click on the "Add New" button.
Scan the barcode using a barcode scanner or enter the string manually
Select the product code in the designated field.
Click the "Save" button to add the product code to the cross-reference list.
Step 3: Managing Cross-References
On the cross-reference management page, you will see a table displaying the existing cross-references.
Each row represents a product code and its associated product.
To delete a cross-reference, click on the "Delete" button next to the corresponding product code.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Step 4: Scanning and Validating Product Codes in Sales Orders
the sales order section, when scanning a catch weight item, the system will automatically compare it to the associated product in the cross-reference list.
If the scanned catch weight item does not match the associated product, the system will notify you that the item being scanned is different from the one in the sales order.
