Introduction: This instruction manual will guide you through the process of creating a new journal entry using our platform.
Step 1: Enter Account Information
In the "GL Acct" field, you have two options for searching for an account:
Type in the account number corresponding to the account.
Type in the account description.
Select the account from the drop-down list that appears.
Step 2: Enter Class Information
In the "Class" field, you have two options for searching for a class:
Type in the class number corresponding to the class.
Type in the class description.
Select the class from the drop-down list that appears.
Step 3: Enter Debit and Credit Amounts
In the "Debit" field, type in the amount of money you are transferring from the account into the corresponding box.
In the "Credit" field, type in the amount of money you are transferring into the account into the corresponding box.
Step 4: Save and Exit
After entering all the required data, click the "Save & Exit" button to save the new journal entry.
